Paramount+ announced on Thursday that We Will Dance Again, a documentary on the shocking Hamas terror attack on the Nova Music Festival that left more than 400 dead and dozens kidnapped, will premiere exclusively on the platform in the U.S. this fall.
As the doc from See It Now Studios recounts, the Nova Music Festival was supposed to be a celebration of life, love and music for thousands of young people but became one of the first targets when Hamas launched the deadliest terror attack in Israel’s history on October 7, 2023. Told through the eyes of more than a dozen survivors, many of whom videotaped their experiences as the massacre unfolded, the film weaves together eyewitness accounts from more than a dozen survivors along with footage captured by both the victims and Hamas.
“The human cost of what happened on October 7th in Israel and the war in Gaza has been catastrophic,” stated Susan Zirinsky, President of See It Now Studios. She stressed that while the company “can’t tell” the stories of everyone affected by the tragedy, “this film is about innocent young people forced to fight for their survival. It is a painful story of unfathomable tragedy and also of bravery, sacrifice and heroism.”
Directed by Yariv Mozer (The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes), We Will Dance Again is a co-production of See It Now Studios, SIPUR and factual producer Bitachon 365 in collaboration with MGM Television, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, and HSCC. Other co-producers include BBC Storyville, which will broadcast the documentary in the UK, and Hot Channel 8, which will air it in Israel.
Exec producers on the project include Sheldon Lazarus, Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner for Bitachon 365; Emilio
