Police confirmed Mohammed Shahdab and Sheikala Razaq, both 39, as the victims of the crash which happened at 5.45pm on June 5. Donations for the couples' five orphaned children have topped £100,000 in just 24 hours, according to Birmingham Live.
Both were travelling on the same motorbike and were pronounced dead at the scene. Police who attended the incident said previously a blue Saab car may have been involved but fled the scene.

Murder accused 'owed dead men £200k before double shooting' after bodies found in Range Rover
