Love Island's Kady McDermott and Ouzy See made headlines with their reported split earlier this month, amid swirling rumours of Ouzy's two-night stay in a hotel with another woman. Now, Ouzy has stepped forward to address the claims, confirming that it was indeed his actions that led to the relationship's downfall. However, he says he was "set up" by the woman he met at the hotel.
In the aftermath of the split, Kady pointedly cited Ouzy's "behaviour and actions" as the catalyst for their separation. Ouzy subsequently released his own statement, acknowledging that his actions were the cause and expressing his apologies for the situation. It was reported that shortly after returning to the UK, Ouzy met up with Alicia, an influencer with whom he had prior connections before Love Island.
Speaking to MailOnline at the We Are FSTVL event, Ouzy clarified that there was "no romantic connection" between him and Alicia and admitted he understands why Kady felt upset. He explained: "I just want to clear it up, I was in the wrong. I can understand why Kady was upset, the girl (Alicia) set me up, she came to the hotel and I had never done anything with her." He further elaborated on the circumstances, emphasising that his and Kady’s relationship was not exclusive at the time and had not progressed to their first date.
Ouzy shared: "Things were going in the right direction and going well but when we came out of the villa, things were so different.
