Sam Heughan has delighted fans as he kicks off My Peak Challenge 2024.
The Outlander actor and fitness enthusiast took to Instagram to share a sweaty video of him and his mate Coach Valbo in the gym after a workout.
In the post, he wrote: "Day 1 @mypeakchallenge 2024! Come join us, the platform is LIVE! Chose your workout track, yoga, meditation, nutrition, community support and so much more to come… Supporting @world_wildlife."
And then speaking to the camera, Sam said: "Hey guys, that's it, day one is in the bag for 2024! What an amazing start to 2024, if you haven't joined us please do!
Coach Valbo then explained a little bit about what they offer and welcomed beginners to veterans to join in.
Before Sam added: "Welcome to the family! Keep on Peaking!"
In 2017, Sam launched My Peak Challenge (MPC) - a movement "dedicated to educating and inspiring its members to live healthier, happier, and more balanced lives while raising funds to change lives".
In 2022, Sam raised whopping £590,000 for charity with the help of his organisation MPC. Fellow members - known as Peakers - set themselves a challenge, physical or otherwise, in a bid to raise cash.
Since the organisation began, they have raised around $6.9m (£5.8m) for a number of good causes including, Give Blood UK, Ocean Conservancy, Marie Curie, and many more. In 2022, Peakers raised over $711k (£592k) and planted 607,000 trees.
Fans quickly flocked to the comments of Sam's video saying they were looking forward to the challenge.
