Actress Sophie Skelton recently spoke about how the new season will affect her and Roger (played by Scots actor Richard Rankin) in a new clip unveiled by the official Outlander account on Twitter. Now, Richard has had a chance to reveal what's in store for Roger in a similar interview.
Speaking in the minute-long clip, Richard stated that Roger and Bree are "more together than we've ever seen them", he said: "They've both embraced and accepted the 18th century as their home. "They tried and failed to go back to their time but for Roger, I don't think he had quite realised it was more home to him than he thought. "That set up a foundation for Roger and Brianna to understand that they can be happy there, so that it then just becomes about what is their purpose as a family here settled where we are going to spend our lives." So does that mean they are staying in the 18th century? We'll have to wait and see.
What about fan favourites Marsali (Lauren Lyle) and Fergus (César Domboy)? Well, Lauren recently revealed in an interview with Radio Time s that Marsali was going to have to step up to defend her family over some turbulent times in season six – possibly to do with her impending pregnancy, which book readers will know all about.
