Over the past six seasons, Outlander has introduced us to some truly amazing characters and of course, some horrible, horrible villains – we are looking at you Black Jack.
But we were curious to see who fans would bring back to join the current Fraser Ridge crew if they had the chance.
Alive or dead there are so many fascinating options, particularly when you consider how much fans still pine for the days when the story was still taking place in Scotland.
Obviously, this article will be filled with spoilers for the show so if you haven't caught up it might be best to avoid this one.

So, who did fans pick out?
Well, there were a few favourites but there was only one clear winner.
Let's face it, it was always going to be him, wasn't it? The sheer volume of responses mentioning his name completely blew everyone else out of the water – by some distance.
A fan favourite from the start, Jamie's godfather was the perfect elder foil for our handsome highland protagonist, always on hand to dispense valuable advice.
As Whitney Reid put it when we asked the question: "That one is easy, Murtagh."
While Elaine Poulson Harper added: "Murtagh. He is missed... he was a salty ole devil, it was fun."
Comedic duo Angus and Rupert were much cherished and it appears, missed by the fans.
As Diane Morley said: "Angus and Rupert, just can't have one of them without the other."
In fact, the pair were chosen by quite a few of the fans and only came second to Murtagh himself.
Pat Jackson wasn't fussy, she just wants the actor back, it doesn't matter what part he plays, she wrote: "Tobias Menzies...either as Frank or BJR!!!"
