Huddersfield street in the early hours of February 20. Two boys, aged 14 and 16, have since appeared in court charged with his murder. On the fundraising page, the two young women tell how Harley's mother Janet moved from London to Huddersfield in 2020, along with Harley's younger brother, in search of "a fresh start and to grow up in a safer environment".
They say how much he loved animals and at one time dreamed of becoming a vet. He held on while he was taken to hospital but sadly passed away after every effort was made to save his life.
"Harley was born in London and moved to Huddersfield in 2020 with his mother and little brother for a fresh start and to grow up in a safer environment. He will never get the chance to grow up and experience things such as getting a driving license, having a family or even getting his first real job. "He will never get the opportunity to reach his full potential and this breaks our hearts.
"The sisters describe how Harley loved listening to and creating music and had a "passion" for caring for animals. They say he had dreams of becoming a veterinarian as a younger child but had most recently showed interest in manual labour. He was due to start college in September and was "really looking" forward to it.
