Oscars 2021: 'In Memoriam' Honors Chadwick Boseman, Christopher Plummer and More Late Stars

The 93rd Academy Awards were held on April 25, 2021, and saw several celebrities turning up looking their best for the ceremony. Among the night's biggest honours celebrating the best of talent in cinema, the Best Actor award was bagged by actor Anthony Hopkins for his role in The Father.

One of the most touching traditions at the Oscars is the In Memoriam section of the show. This is where someone goes on stage and introduces a musical montage that showcases some of the film and TV folks that passed away over the past year.

No matter what you think about last night’s Oscars, one thing is for sure—it ended in a very peculiar way. Typically, the show ends on the Best Picture award, which is the biggest of the night.
