LOS ANGELES — Oprah Winfrey is returning to her talk show format with a new series on Apple TV+, whose first episodes will focus on racism in the United States, Apple Inc and Winfrey announced on Monday.
“The Oprah Conversation” will debut July 30. It will feature Winfrey and Ibram X. Kendi, author of the best-selling book “How To Be an Antiracist,” speaking with white people about racism, Apple and Winfrey said in a statement.

The first cast members of HBO’s “Between The World And Me” adaptation have been announced.
HBO is clearly working hard to get the upcoming adaptation of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ book “Between the World and Me” on TV screens this year. When it was announced that the network was working on an adaptation of the book, people were already excited enough to see this story told at a time when American politics and social discourse is dominated by the death of George Floyd and the prevalence of Black Lives Matter protests.
