Gillian appeared alongside her fellow actor on the soap, Brian Conley, to talk about their characters' wedding as fans waited to find out what happened at the ceremony.
Gillian has played Kathy since EastEnders began in 1985, taking on the role in two stints - the first until 2000, and then from 2015 until the present day. A current major storyline sees Kathy finally walk down the aisle with fiancé Rocky Cotton, played by Brian.

They were asked to try and remember how other EastEnders couples fared when they attempted to get married, from Ian and Cindy Beale in 1989 to Barry and Janine Evans in 2004.
