‘One Piece’ Live-Action Series Based On Manga Classic Ordered By Netflix From Tomorrow Studios

Get ready to take a trip back to your childhood because Tom and Jerry are ready to hit the big screens later this year. The makers are working on a live-action reboot of the cartoon show and we could not be more excited about the upcoming movie. The film will explore a fresh story arc and will follow the iconic characters on a whole new adventure. Tom and Jerry already enjoy a huge fan base ever since it started in 1940.     

Disney has been raking in the cash with its live-action remakes of its beloved animated movies.

After releasing a live-action film based on the popular Disney character in May, the company appears to be moving forward with a sequel, according to Variety. A Disney spokesperson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The makers of Mulan have released a new action-packed trailer of the much anticipated Disney live-action film.
