Gogglebox star Lee Riley has appeared in a rare snap with his partner Steve as he returned to their home in Cyprus. The Channel 4 star splits his time between filming the show with pal Jenny Newby in the UK and Northern Cyprus. The film was said to be written by Paul Schrader and would pull back the curtain on Martin’s time in the Rat Pack and, of course, in his comedic duo with Jerry Lewis.

With the release of Baz Lerman’s “Elvis” on the horizon and the massive success of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the popularity of music biopics has not been any higher. This motivated Universal Pictures, producer Amy Pascal (“Spider-Man” franchise), and Madonna to team up for an untitled film based on the life of the iconic pop star.

Variety.Another insider connected to the project noted that Garner, 28, has materialized as the favorite to portray the “Hung Up” singer, 63, from over a dozen frontrunners.A different source claimed the “Inventing Anna” star’s team is considering accepting the role. Madonna is set to direct the feature based on her life.The film will follow the “Evita” star’s early life and rise to fame as the world’s foremost pop superstar.

Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz will portray legendary Old Hollywood director Billy Wilder in a biographical film from director Stephen Frears, the film’s producer Jeremy Thomas announced Monday. “Billy Wilder and Me” is part coming-of-age-story and part true-life portrait about a young woman who begins working with Wilder during the filming of “Fedora” on a Greek island in 1977. But as she continues with him to Germany to continue the shoot, she finds herself joining him on a journey into the memory of his family history.

Sarah Silverman has joined the cast of the Leonard Bernstein biopic “Maestro,” which will star and be directed by Bradley Cooper, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.According to Deadline, which first reported the news, Silverman is playing Bernstein’s sister.“Maestro” was originally set at Paramount, but Netflix took over with Martin Scorsese producing along with Steven Spielberg, who is producing via his Amblin Entertainment banner.
