Currently, forecasters predict the price cap to drop significantly in April. Cornwall Insight's final forecast for April states that the April price cap will be dropped to £1,635.
In total, this would be a fall of 15 per cent from the current price cap. Cornwall Insight also predicts the price cap to continue falling in July, before seeing a slight rise in October.
Despite a slight rise in winter, the forecaster said it is unlikely it will go above the current price cap Dr Craig Lowrey, Principal Consultant at Cornwall Insight said: “Forecasts show energy bills returning to their lowest levels in over two years, providing a much-needed respite for a nation struggling with a cost of living crisis.
“Fairly healthy gas supply across the Atlantic, coupled with high storage levels in Europe, are helping to keep bills down. But we mustn’t get too complacent. Our energy system is still walking a tightrope, and we cannot be sure another political or economic crisis won’t send bills straight back up.
“Even with the drop, prices will remain a struggle for many. We need to remember, bills remain hundreds of pounds above pre-pandemic levels, and if we don’t speed up the switch to

Packing for a city break can be stressful, especially if you have a small baggage luggage allowance and when the weather doesn't consist of 24-hour sunshine. Do you have a mini trip planned? If so, why not take style inspiration from what I packed on my recent jaunt to Paris? I was lucky enough to get invited on a 48-hour girls' trip consisting of luxe dining, perfume-making, a sophisticated afternoon tea at Les Meurice and a sexy burlesque show at Crazy Horse. The dream! Unsurprisingly (with fashion at the forefront of everything that I do), when receiving the invite, the first thing that sprung to mind was what am I going to wear? In the city known for its immaculate dress sense, the pressure was on to find chic looks that fitted my well-planned itinerary and made me feel like a million dollars, oo la la! The first thing I did when planning my outfits was write a list (I love a list) of how many outfits I needed, and for what. This will allow you to focus on creating looks for each eventuality and as a result, you'll avoid overpacking. The Eurostar luggage allowance, luckily for me, is pretty generous so I didn't have this particular problem but I wanted to be organised when I arrived.

Jennifer Lopez’s much-anticipated new album “This Is Me… Now” — the sequel to 2002’s “This Is Me… Then,” which drops on Friday — once again revolves around her Hollywood love affair with “Gigli” co-star Ben Affleck. But just like that much-maligned romantic comedy did in 2003, Lopez’s first studio album in 10 years — since 2014’s “A.K.A.” — proves yet again that sometimes art and amor just don’t mix.First off, like most sequels, it pales compared to the original. While it was hardly Janet Jackson’s “The Velvet Rope,” Rihanna’s “Anti” or Beyoncé’s anything, “This Is Me… Then” was probably J.Lo’s most “artistic” album.Yes, it had two hit hip-pop bops in “Jenny from the Block” — which infamously featured Affleck in its video — and the lip-licking LL Cool J collab “All I Have.” But Lopez’s third studio LP also found the singer-actress digging for more emotional depth than she had shown on either 1999’s “On the 6” or 2001’s “J.Lo.”But you know what? “On the 6” and “J.Lo” were ultimately better albums because Lopez played to her strengths with booty-shaking beats — the better to hoof it up in some killer couture — rather than heart-tugging feels. And “This Is Me… Now” leans even more into J.Lover rather than J.Lo.While the first single, “Can’t Get Enough” — another hip-pop bop that samples Alton Ellis’ ’60s reggae classic “I’m Still in Love with You” while nodding to Marcia Aitken’s 1977 version of the song— would’ve been a hit 20 years ago, the rest of Lopez’s ninth studio album finds the Bronx-born diva stuck in a romantic rut.
