In an episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Conversation” titled "How to Be an Antiracist,” Winfrey, 66, discussed the infamous incident in May when a White woman named Amy Cooper called the police on a Black man named Christian Cooper who was bird watching in New York City’s Central Park.

The first cast members of HBO’s “Between The World And Me” adaptation have been announced.

HBO is clearly working hard to get the upcoming adaptation of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ book “Between the World and Me” on TV screens this year. When it was announced that the network was working on an adaptation of the book, people were already excited enough to see this story told at a time when American politics and social discourse is dominated by the death of George Floyd and the prevalence of Black Lives Matter protests.

The death of Breonna Taylor has become a lightning rod for activism and change. Oprah Winfrey, among many other celebrities, is continuously fighting for justice in the case of Taylor, who was murdered after police mistakenly went to her home and shot her after her boyfriend fired at them.

Oprah Winfrey has set up 26 billboards in and around Louisville, Kentucky, demanding swift justice for Breonna Taylor's death. Each billboard features the same image of Taylor that Winfrey used on the front of the September issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, marking the first time Winfrey herself did not appeare on the publication's cover.
