A selfless nurse cancelled her retirement 'treat' so she can carry on caring for high-risk patients during the coronavirus pandemic.
Respiratory nurse specialist Michaela Bowden had planned to retire from her full-time post at the end of April and celebrate with a cruise, before returning part-time in June.
But after the COVID-19 outbreak, Mrs Bowden said it was a 'no brainer' that she would cancel her month break and carry on taking care of patients at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
