Nikki Bella Reveals Ex-Fiance John Cena Got ‘Editing Rights’ on Her New Memoir

Along with the equally dramatic Boneyard Match, featuring The Undertaker and AJ Styles, the Firefly Funhouse Match was a cinematic delight and the WWE Universe ate it all up willingly.

Taking a break from his busy Hollywood schedule, John Cena finally treated his fans to some jaw-dropping action at WrestleMania 36 event. He entered the ring against Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend for a Firefly Fun House Match.

Ever since it was announced that John Cena will appear on the eagerly awaited WrestleMania 36 event, fans were waiting to catch the star in action. And when he finally entered the ring on April 5 against Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend, the wrestler-turned-actor made sure he entertained his fans.

Showing her support? Nikki Bella admitted that she watched WrestleMania 36 on Sunday, April 5, even when her ex-fiance, John Cena, hit the screen.

Of course, Nikki Bella tuned into WrestleMania 36 on Sunday night, where her friends and former colleagues battled in the ring during part two of the annual event. That night, Nikki — a two-time WWE Divas Champion — watched her ex-fiance John Cena (spoiler) … lose to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a dramatic matchup. Nikki, 36, admitted the latter when curious fans questioned her about seeing her ex on television.

Nikki Bella and her sister Brie Bella are all set to release their memoir. Nikki recently revealed that her ex-boyfriend John Cena edited his own chapter in the upcoming book. The two wrestlers sparked romance rumours in 2012 and after dating for several years, called off their engagement in 2018. Speaking with ET, the 36-year-old WWE star stated that she had signed a contract and gave John the editing rights. She mentioned that he edited the chapter before calling it quits.

John Cena got the final say over some of the content in Nikki and Brie Bella's upcoming memoir,. ET's Lauren Zima spoke to the 36-year-old twins via Zoom on Tuesday, and Nikki revealed that John, her ex-fiancé, got to edit his chapter in the book. Nikki and John were first linked in 2012, before calling off their engagement in 2018.

WWE made the monumental decision recently to shift Wrestlemania 36 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay to the WWE Performance Center, without a live audience, amidst the coronavirus scare. Moreover, The Show of Shows will be taking place over the course of two days, i.e. April 4-5, in various locations and will feature matches like Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler (for RAW Women's Championship), Randy Orton vs. Edge and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend, just to name a few!
