Just hours before, the 31-year-old actor/musician and the 37-year-old actress announced their returns to Broadway in the musical The Last Five Years!
This will actually be Nick‘s first time starring on Broadway in over ten years, since his run in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2012. Adrienne was last on the Great White Way in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.
Nick and Adrienne joined director Whitney White on the carpet, who will be directing them in the upcoming production, debuting next year.
Whitney is nominated at this years ceremony for the Best Direction of a Play award, for her work helming Jaja’s African Hair Braiding. This is her first nomination and her its for her Broadway directorial debut!
Tune in TONIGHT for the Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose for the third year in a row. The musical Hell’s Kitchen and the play Stereophonic lead the nominations this year. Plenty of exciting stars are expected to perform throughout the night!
