“Mission: Impossible 7” holds the distinction of being the first major Hollywood production to be halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was scheduled to begin work in Italy when the country’s outbreak occurred in late-February/early-March.
Unfortunately, it appears that Nicholas Hoult won’t be appearing in the upcoming “Mission: Impossible” sequel, as was previously announced. And when you think about someone that can possibly step in and replace Hoult, while also being a very similar onscreen presence, clearly you think of Esai Morales.
