Kaepernick became a free agent in 2017 and has not played in the NFL since.Now, Giuliani, who was part of Trump’s personal legal team, has waded into the debate.“Let’s get right to Eminem taking a knee,” he told New York radio station 77WABC.

Though unconfirmed by the man himself, many have interpreted this as a show of support for Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers player who was largely ostracized by the league after he began kneeling before games in 2016. Early reports from Sunday suggested that Eminem had been prohibited from making the gesture while on stage, and that his decision to do it went against the NFL's demands.
