It's the Boxing Day sale many of us eagerly anticipate every single year, and now we have some information on the Next shopping event this year.
The high street retailer's seasonal sale has proven incredibly popular in previous years, with eager bargain hunters queuing as early as 5am to get their hands on up to 50 percent off discounts across nearly every product category.
However, the retailer has made a slight change to its Boxing Day sale in 2021 and 2022 when it made the decision to keep its doors closed on December 26. In a new update, it looks like the retailer is sticking to this routine this year to open stores on December 27.
A spokesperson for the retailer recently told BirminghamLive: "Our stores will NOT be open on Boxing Day but WILL be open from 6am on the 27th for the sale."

While the Next winter sale does not begin until December 27 in store, some shoppers might be able get VIP access today (Thursday, December 21.)
The retailer's limited slots went available on December 18 and they are usually incredibly popular, but you can check for any remaining slots by visiting the Next website here. The VIP slots are on a first-come-first-served basis and are usually sent out to a selection of its customers.
A Next spokesman said on its website: "VIP Sale invites are sent out to a selection of our customers. Due to limited slots, not all customers will receive an invite.
