A new Gaelic class in Castle Douglas is a chat-away success.
Around 20 learners attended the first session in Castle Douglas Community Centre.
It was the first of ten planned under Glenkens teachers Michael Ansell and Ian Buckley.
Mr Ansell, from New Galloway, said: “It is a very encouraging start to the new class.
“The high numbers are possibly down to the advent of the Duolingo app.
