Neve Campbell is returning to Scream!
The original series star, who played Sidney Prescott in five of the six movies, revealed she’s returning for the seventh film in the franchise amid controversy.

Earlier this month, news broke that Neve Campbell would return as Sydney Prescott for “Scream 7” as the slasher franchise starts from scratch. Now it appears another Woodsboro resident will also be back: Courteney Cox‘s Gale Weathers.

The news comes about two weeks after Neve Campbell announced she was coming back as Sidney Prescott after the actor sat out of “Scream 6” due to a salary dispute. “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!!” Campbell posted on Instagram March 12.
