Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is coming to Netflix!
On Friday (April 29), the streamer unveiled a new trailer and release date for the highly-anticipated remake.

Here’s a summary from Variety: “Money Heist: Korea takes place as North and South Korea are on the verge of a peaceful reunification after nearly 80 years of division. But as the nations prepare to print a brand-new unified currency, a heist is hatched. A genius strategist known as the Professor assembles a motley crew of top-tier thieves from north and south in an attempt to steal the new currency straight from the mint.”
The series will be comprised of Kim Hong-Sun and will feature 12 episodes. The star-studded cast includes Yoo Ji-tae, Kim Yunjin, Park Hae-soo and Jeon Jong-seo.

EXCLUSIVE: Ed Skrein (Deadpool) has replaced Rupert Friend in Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic Rebel Moon for Netflix, following Friend’s exit from the project due to scheduling conflicts, with Cleopatra Coleman (Dopesick), Fra Fee (Hawkeye) and Rhian Rees (Nope) also signing on for roles.
