Doctor Who. The Sex Education star was confirmed to be taking over from Jodie Whittaker as the hit BBC show's next Time Lord on Sunday (May 8) morning.
The 29-year-old is best known for his role as Eric Effiong in Netflix's Sex Education. He is up for an award in tonight's BAFTA TV Awards after being nominated for the Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme for his portrayal of Eric.
Speaking to presenter Vick Hope on the BAFTA Awards red carpet, he said: "It's been emotional, it's been emotional, I was just saying I woke up crying and then I started dancing. I'm glad it's finally out and I don't have to keep it secret anymore because I'm terrible.
