Hollywood actress Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied reportedly ended their 11-year marriage amid reports that he had an affair - and it now appears Natalie has confirmed they're parting ways as she's been spotted without her wedding ring.
The 42-year-old was recently spotted in Paris sans wedding band and looking unhappy and downcast. And, as Natalie sported a casual look of shorts, T-shirt and trainers, she hide her eyes with a pair of blacked-out sunglasses.
It's thought that French dancer Benjamin, 46, was in France too as the couple were visiting the capital to take their children - Aleph, 12, and Amalia, six - to school. Rumour has it, Benjamin also removed his wedding ring for the trip.
Earlier this year, reports emerged that Benjamin had a 'short-lived' affair with a younger woman after the pair were photographed leaving his office together. Although Natalie and Benjamin, who have been married since 2012, were said to be 'working through' the affair in the beginning, it seems this could signal that they're headed for divorce.
The news of their separation broke when an insider told the publication Us, “After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs." And at the time, an insider revealed the mum-of-two remained committed to her marriage and would try to work on it, despite the alleged infidelity.
But this isn't the first time Natalie, known for her hit roles in Black Swan and Thor, has since been spotted without a ring on her left hand. On the day of their 11th wedding anniversary on 4 August, the actress decided not to wear it during an Angel City FC event in Sydney, Australia.
