London-based Blackburn joined WME as an assistant in 2007 and was promoted to agent in 2018. Blackburn initially worked in the music department before joining the brand partnerships team when the group expanded to London.

Amy Winehouse‘s 2006 album ‘Back To Black’, it has been confirmed that the character of Mark Ronson will not be in the upcoming film of the same name.The confirmation comes after Canadian actor Jeff Tunke claimed in an interview with The Daily Mail that the scenes he had filmed as Ronson had all been cut from the final movie. According to Tunke, the scenes being cut has also led to his credits being removed from the film and IMDb.However, the film’s director Sam Taylor-Johnson has since responded via a spokesperson, saying: “The character of Mark Ronson has never appeared on screen in the film, so it would not have been possible to ‘cut all the scenes’ involving Mark Ronson as they do not exist.”Ronson, who was Winehouse’s friend and collaborator, helped produced her seminal second album, 2006’s ‘Back To Black’.

I will moderate that discussion, which will touch on the preposterously unlikely way that Soderbergh discovered and godfathered the career of the duo that directed Hollywood’s all-time highest grossing film, Avengers: Endgame. Many may not know the name Shirley Chisholm, but it is not for lack of Hollywood trying to keep her flame alive. The seven-term Brooklyn congresswoman, who became the first African American woman elected to Congress when she won in 1968, also became the first woman and first African American to seek the nomination for President of either major party when she ran for the Democratic nomination in 1972. She defined the word “trailblazer” and her story is indeed inspiring, if also frustrating for all the obstacles she had to overcome in a male-dominated business of governing. Uzo Aduba won an Emmy for her supporting role as Chisholm the 2020 limited series Mrs. America, even as the series itself was focused on conservative gadfly Phyllis Schaffly played by Cate Blanchett. That series touched on the 1972 campaign and thus Chisholm as well, but now, after 15 years of trying, Regina King has realized a longtime goal of doing a movie solely focused on Chisholm. In addition to playing the title role, King is also a producer, probably facing the same stiff odds bringing Chisholm’s life to the screen that her subject faced in Congress, where she introduced more than 50 pieces of legislation during her career and truly made a difference.
