The trailer for the Whitney Houston biopic, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, just debuted online.
I Wanna Dance with Somebody is an upcoming feature about the late musical icon, Whitney Houston. Naomi Ackie stars as Whitney Houston in the musical biopic, which is based on the epic life and music of the iconic singer.
Many are wondering after watching the trailer, is Naomi singing the songs or is Whitney Houston‘s voice being used?

Music mogul Clive Davis confirmed that Whitney’s iconic singing voice will be used and Naomi will not be doing any of the singing.
“Ee were very impressed that Whitney‘s persona was being captured,” he told USA Today of Naomi‘s audition. “The (singing) voice, of course, will be Whitney‘s. When it came to Whitney, we just didn’t think anyone could capture her vocal genius, so it will be the Whitney voice in the film.” Find out what else was revealed about her audition!
