Ross Kemp has revealed how Bradley Walsh helped him in his new BBC game show role Bridge Of Lies.The new daytime quiz, which airs Monday to Friday at 4:30pm on BBC One, sees contestants cross a bridge using knowledge, strategy and luck with one wrong step losing them everything. Ross, 57, who is best known for playing Grant Mitchell on EastEnders as well as his award-winning documentary series, has revealed that he looked to the likes of Sir Bruce Forsyth, Alexander Armstrong and Bradley, 61, for inspiration during research.Talking about his process, he said: "I watched lots of current quiz show hosts, like Alexander Armstrong and Bradley Walsh, as well as some icons like Brucie during my research, and my main takeaway from that was: 'If you want to be successful in this role, you’ve just got to be yourself.'" Peacock has handed a series order to Twisted Metal, a comedic half-hour live-action adaptation of the popular video game, from Sony Pictures TV, Playstation Productions and Universal Television. Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) stars and executive produces the project, first announced in September, which is written and executive produced by Cobra Kai writer Michael Jonathan Smith, who will serve as showrunner. Will Arnett and Marc Forman, who secured the rights to the material and helped put the adaptation together, also executive produce via their Electric Avenue production company.

It was most recently set up at The CW for development, having moved to the broadcaster from Netflix. Netflix had originally given the show a series order back in 2019, but it was previously reported that they had dropped the show after the pandemic pushed back the start of production.“The Girls on the Bus” is inspired by a chapter in Chozick’s book “Chasing Hillary.” The show is described as a comedic character-driven drama that chronicles four female journalists who follow every move of a parade of flawed presidential candidates, while finding friendship, love, and scandal along the way.

The Girls On The Bus‘ long journey to the small screen has come to a successful conclusion with a straight-to-series order at HBO Max. The drama series adaptation of Amy Chozick’s best-selling book Chasing Hillary, from Julie Plec, Chozick, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. TV, originally landed at Netflix with a series order three years and moved to the CW for development earlier in this broadcast cycle.
