(G)I-DLE have released a brand-new video for their English single ‘I Do’, featuring stars from F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.The new music video for (G)I-DLE’s ‘I Do’ reunites ‘Tu’ Tontawan Tantivejakul and ‘Dew’ Jirawat Sutivanisak, two of the stars of GMMTV’s 2021 romance series F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.The clip centres on the relationship between Tu and Dew, starting from their blossoming young love as students in high school to an emotional break up during prom.Later, the duo reunite as adults during a chance encounter at a park. Notably, the new music video for ‘I Do’ does not feature an appearance from any member of (G)I-DLE.(G)I-DLE released ‘I Do’ on July 14, shortly after the girl group’s label CUBE Entertainment announced a new partnership with the Asian-focused music company 88rising.The original music video for ‘I Do’ starred the members of (G)I-DLE as an extraterrestrial who crash lands on Earth.

It was a major win for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team as they made their debut at the 2023 Women’s World Cup and a record-breaking win for U.S. networks airing the championship.

Barbie starring Margot Robbie has been released – check it out below.Directed by Greta Gerwig (Little Women), the satirical comedy is the first live-action film based on Mattel’s Barbie dolls.Led by Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken respectively, the film’s ensemble cast also includes America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae and Will Ferrell.The soundtrack is curated and produced by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. As noted in an interview with Time, Ronson and Gerwig created a “dream list” of musicians they wanted to include – including Nicki Minaj and Charli XCX. Every artist they approached was shown the scene from the film where their track would feature.The first single from the album was ‘Dance The Night’ by Dua Lipa, followed by tracks from Karol G and PinkPantheress.

Thania Garcia Michele Santucci has joined Verve Label Group (VLG) as the company’s new vice president of streaming to oversee DSP strategies for releases across Verve Records, Decca Records US, Impulse!, and Verve Forecast. Santucci joins with the experience of her previous post at Spotify, where she spent a decade working as a recorded music lead and supervising producer for Spotify Studios. Verve Label Group, a division of Universal Music Group, is home to Grammy award winners Samara Joy, Jon Batiste and Madison Cunningham, among many others. “I am extremely excited to join the team at Verve Label Group. Their history and roster are inspirational and I look forward to working with the label and its streaming partners to help build the careers of these great artists,” said Santucci in a statement shared with Variety.

These videos have led to her performing on stage with the Foo Fighters and Lenny Kravitz before, this year, being featured in the latest series of Rebel Girls Rock books in honour of International Women’s Month.It has been reported that Bushell, her family and the family of her drumming tutor Ashley Howard are all involved in the opening of the Stairways Music School.

Thania Garcia Universal Music Group (UMG) has partnered with Kevin “Chief” Zaruk and Simon Tikhman, co-founders of a leading entertainment and talent management company Core Entertainment (TCE), to launch The Core Records. The new global label venture will sign and develop new artists, working hand-in-hand with UMG’s network. Tikhman and Zaruk founded TCE with Live Nation in 2019 as an independent entertainment collective that specializes in talent management, business and strategic partnerships, and advancements in the music, technology, and lifestyle industries. Additionally, TCE develops film and television projects and works with professional athletes.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Emmy-winning writer/producer/director Manny Coto, whose credits include “24” and its sequels “24: Live Another Day” and “24: Legacy,” as well as “American Horror Story,” “Star Trek: Enterprise” and “Dexter,” died Sunday in Pasadena. He was 62. News of Coto’s death was confirmed by a family representative. Coto died after a 13-month battle with pancreatic cancer, and passed away at his home, surrounded by family. Born in Havana, Cuba, Manuel Hector Coto was one of primetime’s most prominent Latino writers and showrunners. He shared the outstanding drama series Emmy in 2005 for Season 5 of “24,” and co-created “24: Legacy.” Coto also spend four seasons as exec producer of “American Horror Story,” and also exec produced two seasons of “American Horror Stories,” directing the 2021 episode “Feral.”

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor It took over 555 musicians with sessions around Europe — including in Rome, Vienna, Venice, Switzerland and London — to put together the score for “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” composer Lorne Balfe tells Variety. The composer started writing the music almost three years ago, and “at last count, there was over 14 hours of music recorded,” Balfe says. However, only two-and-a-half hours or so made it into the final cut of the film. The storyline sees Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt take on a new villain, The Entity, a sentient Artificial Intelligence. Ethan’s mission is to defeat The Entity with a metal key. And while the film features an array of mind-blowing stunts, including Ethan driving a motorcycle off a cliff or a climatic fight atop a moving steam engine train, there was also plenty of emotion for Balfe to root his score in.

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Colleen Ballinger, the YouTube creator whose awkward character Miranda Sings rose to internet fame, has publicly responded to accusations that she formed inappropriate relationships with teenagers. Ballinger posted a video Wednesday to her Colleen Vlogs channel in which she denies the “lies” and “gossip” about her — partly in song, while strumming a ukulele. “Some people are saying things about me that just aren’t true,” she said at the beginning of the 10-minute video. She continued, “Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I’m going to say, I realized they never said I couldn’t sing about what I want to say.”

K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE have released the music video for their song ‘Bye My Neverland’ from their upcoming self-titled debut record.On June 28 at Midnight KST, the quartet unveiled their music video for their forthcoming B-side ‘Bye My Neverland’. The song, along with each of the members’ solo tracks will be released in their self-titled debut mini-album on July 5 and its lead single ‘Shhh’.In the new visual for ‘Bye My Neverland’, it is revealed that the events of the members’ previously released solo music videos had occurred simultaneously, and that they had unknowingly crossed paths several times.
