Kate Middleton is known for setting a fair few trends of her own, and has been responsible for some items, like her go-to Veja Esplar trainers, £120 here, becoming must-haves for those looking to embody her chic sense of style. Now, it seems like her daughter, Princess Charlotte, is following closely in her mum’s footsteps, as parents are racing to snap up the trainers that the young Princess was spotted in on Monday.
Charlotte wore the Star Lace-Up Trainers from Next, £20 here, whilst volunteering with a Scout troop in Slough, where she helped paint fences and tried her hand at archery as she took part in the Big Help Out initiative on Bank Holiday Monday with her siblings George and Louis, and parents the Prince and Princess of Wales. The trainers feature a 3D star motif on the side, and have a glitter panel at the back, making them perfect for adding a bit of glitz to your youngster’s outfit.
Princess Charlotte wore the white and pink metallic version of the trainers, although they do come in a variety of other colours, including denim blue, gold, lilac, rainbow pastel glitter, and white. They’re available in children’s sizes 9-13 for £20 here, with adult sizes 1-3 costing £22, sizes 4 and 5 available at £24, and sizes 6 and 7 costing £27, meaning you can nab both yourself and your little one some matching trainers for a cute mother-daughter outfit.
As well as her very on-trend trainers, Princess Charlotte was kitted out in a comfortable and stylish outfit ready for a day of volunteering. She wore a pale pink T-shirt with a peter pan collar, just like this white version from H&M, £5.99 here, and some cut off blue denim shorts, similar to these Next Frayed Edge Shorts (3-16 years), £9-£14 here.
