A violent mum who glassed and scarred a woman in a city centre bar has had her jail sentence increased by Appeal Court judges.
Rachael Marland was jailed earlier this year after a “callous” attack that left her victim with permanent facial scarring and “long-lasting psychological pain”.
Marland, 36, initially denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and ran a trial.
But she was convicted by a jury and was jailed for two and a half years during a sentencing hearing at Manchester
