Working two jobs and enjoying a social life at the weekend, she put down any health complaints to her busy lifestyle, Lancs Live reports. After a trip to the doctor she was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. But as the problems continued she knew there was more to it.
Eventually she was diagnosed with Chron's disease, a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which is a lifelong condition where parts of the digestive system become inflamed. She underwent life saving surgery in hospital and woke up with a stoma and a colostomy bag.

After her health scare, she now organises a support session for people suffering from similar conditions. Speaking about her life before her diagnosis, Victoria, from Chorley, said: "At that point, I felt like because it we were talking about bowels and poo, at a young age, it's not something you speak to people about, so I felt like I was on my own with it really. I was really struggling.
"I had lots of different medications and with that comes unwanted side effects, so I just tried to live my life with it and not really knowing anybody else who was living with it." Five years after her diagnosis, at 24-years-old, Victoria underwent emergency life saving surgery at Royal Preston Hospital.
