"It's been 3 long weeks in hospital. But grandad is now home," the influencer, whose beloved chicken Pam "suddenly" passed away, wrote with a prayer hand and blue heart emoji. She added: "We love you dad".
The news is most certainly a relief for Sophie, who took to her Instagram platform earlier this month to have a "catch up", where she was keen to stress that "this is not a 'woe is me' situation". She explained: "So, my dad is in hospital at the moment. My dad has never been blessed, shall we say, with fantastic health, from his chest, his lungs, his heart.
He's always struggled." Sophie then spoke about how, when her dad retired, she made him a workshop when she and her family moved into their £1million "forever home" farmhouse, which they filled with wood and tools so he "could live this dream that he's had since he was a little boy." She went on to say that her dad was "in very safe hands" in the hospital, as she praised the "incredible" nurses taking care of him. Sophie then revealed that her nan was also in hospital after "suffering a fall" as she said, "knowing my nan, I know this will affect her quite a lot mentally". She added: "It's just a worry, isn't it? Having loved ones in hospital - it's just not nice.
