Posting to the group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, the woman wrote: "What do you use to clean/dust your TV screens pls without leaving it streaky?"
The woman's plea was soon flooded with comments suggesting ways to keep the screen spick and span, with one idea in particular proving to be the most popular.
"A damp microfibre cloth. Really just damp, the less wet the better," someone suggested.
Another said: "Damp microfibre cloth, then a dry one straight after!! No streaks and a perfect shiny screen."
A third wrote: "Microfibre cloth works every time to trap dust on the cloth," with a fourth agreeing: "I never use anything wet just a slightly damp microfibre cloth and another one to buff dry."
The tiny fibres on the cloth work well to pick up any dust or dirt residue that might be lingering on your TV screen, and they also don't require you to use as much cleaning product - which you shouldn't be doing anyway.
