Lidl has launched a cosy underblanket that will help keep you warm and toasty during the colder nights for literal pennies.
As energy bills are set to continue skyrocketing this year, many households have have been looking for alternative methods of keeping warm without touching the central heating.
One such method that a lot of us have adopted over the past few months is to "heat the person, not the home", leading to a rise in items such as electric blankets.
While there are certainly a lot of electric blankets on the market right now, Lidl is currently stocking a heated underblanket at the cheapest price you will find.
The budget supermarket's Silvercrest Heated Underblanket is priced at just £22.99 and it aims to keep you toasty "for a fraction of the the cost of traditional heating."
It means that you can ditch the wooly pyjamas and hot water bottle during the colder weather, as Lidl's energy-saving blanket is said to cost just 2p an hour to run.
If you were to keep it on for the full recommended eight hours of sleep a night, then it would only cost you 16p for the full night, compared with a 24KW boiler that would set you back £22.08.
Said to heat up quickly, the blanket also comes with six different heat settings, an automatic shut-off and an automatic switch-down mode after level three.
Not to mention that it also comes complete with an extra warm foot-zone to keep your toes extra toasty during the night.
As Lidl does not currently offer an online shopping option, you will find the £22.99 Silvercrest Heated Underblanket in stores as part of the middle aisle section.
As usual, it is always worth checking with your local store for stock availabiity to avoid any disappointment.
