UPDATE, with Mrs. Doubtfire Mrs. Doubtfire just joined the roster of on-pause Broadway productions due to positive Covid test results within the company. Producers announced that performances of the musical at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre from tonight through Sunday, Dec. 19, have been canceled.
Described as being on “hiatus,” Mrs. Doubtfire is scheduled to resume performances Tuesday, Dec. 21, meaning the musical will miss this upcoming, and crucial, holiday season weekend.
