The new HBO Max series “Raised by Wolves” is hard to forget. Even if it turns out not to be your cup of tea, Aaron Guzikowski (“Prisoners,” “The Red Road”) and Ridley Scott‘s combined vision is one of the most original sci-fi productions in recent memory.

Ridley Scott who drew them to the series. The HBO Max drama is the first TV show that Scott — known for sci-fi hits like 1979's, 1982's and 2015's  -- has directed in decades.

HBO Max series, created by Aaron Guzikowski and executive produced by Ridley Scott, premieres on Thursday, and ET has an exclusive sneak peek. The sci-fi drama centers around two androids, Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), who are tasked with raising human children on a mysterious new planet after the Earth was destroyed by a great war.

You may not recognize Amanda Collin’s name today, but if you take the time to watch Ridley Scott and Aaron Guzikowski’s impressive new series “Raised by Wolves” you certainly won’t forget her face. Set about 150 years in the future, Collin portrays Mother, an android charged with raising an arc full of human children on a hostile alien planet.

Pandemic or not, people still need awards. Especially Lady Gaga, apparently, who won a load of them at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

A pandemic-era MTV Video Music Awards ceremony took place last night in a surprisingly seamless fashion, with host Keke Palmer ably providing the glue to hold everything together.  Lady Gaga  was crowned the big winner of the MTV Video Music Awards 2020, taking the stage for the first time in seven years since her legendary mashup of Paparazzi and Poker Face in 2009; giving one of the biggest performances of the night alongside  Ariana Grande , and delivering the long-awaited visuals and vocals of her latest music video Rain On Me, from her album Chromatica.The pop superstar won five of the most wanted awards of the night, including Best Cinematography, Song of the Year,

 Ariana Grande  and  Lady Gaga  and the famous friends made sure to show their love and support for another on social media. The day kicked off with Grande receiving the news that she is the first woman to ever hit 200 million followers on Instagram.

Gucci movie starring Lady Gaga has been announced, with Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino joining the project.Gaga, who will portray Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Gucci heir Maurizio Gucci who was killed in a 1995 hit she orchestrated, was announced for the lead role last year.

Even though he’s rapidly approaching the age of 83, Ridley Scott isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Not only is he trying to get back to work and finish his period drama, “The Last Duel,” it would appear that he’s already setting up his cast for his next feature, with arguably one of the best lineups of actors in a while.
