An "Easter pizza" is back on the shelves at Morrisons just in time for Easter. Keen eyed shoppers have spotted the 10" stone baked pizza in honour of the Christian holiday now on sale for £3.50.
The Easter themed treat has a traditional pizza base topped with cream cheese, chocolate chips, cookie dough and mini eggs. Despite a 61p rise from it's original price of £2.89, the pizza is still value for money with 10" more than enough to be shared or eaten on your own which, if we're being honest, is how most of us will be devouring it.
The Easter pizza was introduced by the supermarket chain back in 2021. The yummy treat received rave reviews with many taking to social media to praise the ingenious product.
However, opinions were split among our readers when we posted a picture of the pizza on our Facebook page.
One reader who was at their local Morrisons and tempted to try one for themselves said: "Ooh I'm sat in Morrisons café now...I might have to go and find one!"
Another reader who has already tasted the pizza said: "Got one yesterday, highly recommend." While another reader who perhaps needed more convincing said: "Could be lovely but don’t think it’s for me"
Some were flat out against the Easter pizza however, with many taking to their keyboards to post the vomiting gif or emoji. Another reader who was clearly not a fan due to lived experience said: "Chocolate pizza is very common here in Italy. I hate it."
A health conscious reader sarcastically replied: "Great for the cholesterol." While another who shared their sentiments said: "Diabetes… Italian style."
However, perhaps the winning comment came from one observant reader who simply replied: "A large biscuit then?"
