The number of schools affected by positive Covid cases since May half term has now topped 50.
Rising cases across the region are having a huge impact on pupils, who are being sent home to isolate because of bubble closures.
We reported earlier how Lowercroft Primary in Bury has closed Reception and Year 6 classes after 17 positive cases.
And there have been further closures across Greater Manchester.
