Police community support officers (PCSOs) with Greater Manchester Police recorded more than 1,650 speeding offences on the region's roads during September.
The traffic PCSOs carried out speed enforcement throughout the Greater Manchester Police force area last month, making 150 separate visits spread across 10 districts.
As well as targeting criminal activity, the officers also took part in campaigns to protect vulnerable road users.
