MORE & MORE Video: TWICE accused of using artwork sans permission; JYP vows to strengthen verification process

BLINKS have been famished for more than a year and finally, their prayers have been heard! In just a few days, BLACKPINK will reclaim their throne as the Queens of the Music Industry while taking over the charts around the world. On June 26, the Korean girl group will be dropping their pre-release track, How You Like That, which kickstarts their three-part comeback.

Park Seo Joon is having a memorable year. The Korean star began the year on a happy note with Itaewon Class and went on to bag a nomination at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

As though we don't adore the Wooga Squad enough, BTS singer V has given us another reason to shower the gang with love. For the unversed, the friends' group includes Bangtan Boy Kim Taehyung, Itaewon Class star Park Seo Joon, Korean artist Peakboy, Parasite actor Choi Woo Shik, and singer Park Hyun Sik.

From Lee Min Ho, Park Seo Joon, Hyun Bin and Song Joong Ki to Song Hye Kyo and Bae Suzy, the South Korean entertainment industry hosts some of the most talented actors in the country. Their performances transcend the language barrier.

It has been a special week for ONCE as TWICE released the music video of their new song More & More. The artistic video featured Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu embracing nature while dancing their hearts out to their song.

The Korean Entertainment industry is growing popular by the day as it's earning a well deserved global fanbase thanks to the creativity overflowing and the unbelievable talent coming from there. Whether it be movies like Parasite making history, K-dramas breaking records or K-pop music finally getting the recognition it deserves, it's indeed an exciting time to be a hardcore fan.

Park Seo Joon climbed another step on the ladder of success this week. The actor has had a memorable year until now. Seo Joon has received love for his act in Itaewon Class. As he dives deep into his upcoming flick with IU, the actor revealed he has received the YouTube Gold Play Button. The actor received the honour after his YouTube channel surpassed the one million subscriber mark. The actor took to YouTube and did a special unboxing of his Gold Play Button.

BLINKS had a great start to the week when YG Entertainment made a special announcement regarding BLACKPINK. Fans of the K-Pop band were preparing themselves for a three-part comeback this year put together by the talented Korean girl group.

Korean movies and dramas have always been a source of inspiration for storyline purposes from all across the world but it took Bong Joon-ho's Parasite to finally get it the recognition that it sorely deserved for decades. At the Oscars 2020, Parasite made history as not only the first non-English language film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture but also the first movie from South Korea to win Best International Feature Film.

Last year, BTS scored the most-liked tweet courtesy Jungkook. Kookie posted a video on the band's official Twitter account where he was dancing to Billie Eilish's Bad Guy. The ARMY showered him with love and as a result, the "Duh" tweet made history. However, he wasn't the only Korean celebrity who was hooked to the English song last year. We've discovered a video on Lee Min Ho's official Instagram account that shows the lead of The King: Eternal Monarch that shows he also enjoyed the song. 

Some of the most influential K-pop and Korean artists are speaking out after the death of George Floyd for justice and showing their solidarity with the black community.As America grapples with the outrage over another black person's death at the hands of police -- Floyd was suffocated by a Minneapolis police officer during an arrest -- the issue has gained notice around the world including in the Korean-music industry, an industry heavily inspired and influenced by black music and culture.

ONCE, it's time to rejoice and feel the magnitude of love and relationships thanks to TWICE, who have finally dropped their highly-awaited ninth EP, More & More. The peppy soundtrack puts us in a vibrant state of mind, especially the lead single, More & More.

In less than a week, the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards will be announced. The prestigious awards function, dubbed as the Oscars of Korea, recognises the best of Korean dramas and movies that left viewers talking. The nomination list was announced a few weeks ago and as expected, Oscar-winning film Parasite has bagged a nomination at the awards show. But we are not looking at the movies section today. Our attention is on the numerous shows nominated at the awards show this year. 

Korean entertainment, in a nutshell, has taken over on a global scale. Whether it be their addictive tunes or their content-driven yet guilty pleasure K-dramas, there's something in store for everybody.
