BLACKPINK is gearing up for their long-awaited comeback as BLINKS have been demanding for one, for more than a year. Their last released work was the super successful Kill This Love EP, which was a massive chart-topper and increased the Korean girl group's international fanbase.

One of the most beloved K-dramas to come out this year was definitely Crash Landing on You starring the gorgeous pair of Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin. For the unversed, the storyline of CLOY centered around the star-crossed love story between North Korean Ri Jeong-hyeok, a captain in the Korean People's Army and South Korean Yoon Se-ri, heiress to the Queen's Group.

Park Seo Joon is having a memorable year. The Korean star began the year on a happy note with Itaewon Class and went on to bag a nomination at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Hyun Bin is having a fantastic 2020. The actor began the new decade with his show Crash Landing On You.

BTS undeniably has massive social and international influence and has been for a long time, which is why the members standing in solidarity with all the victims of police brutality and racism in general was only a matter of time.

On Wednesday morning, #WhiteLivesMatter was trending on Twitter — but not for the reason many first assumed.

The Korean Entertainment industry is growing popular by the day as it's earning a well deserved global fanbase thanks to the creativity overflowing and the unbelievable talent coming from there. Whether it be movies like Parasite making history, K-dramas breaking records or K-pop music finally getting the recognition it deserves, it's indeed an exciting time to be a hardcore fan.

Earlier this week, TWICE released the music video of MORE & MORE. While ONCE members have showered the Korean girl band with love over the video, the singers found themselves in a soup when an international artist accused the makers of replicating his art installation in their video.

BLINKS had a great start to the week when YG Entertainment made a special announcement regarding BLACKPINK. Fans of the K-Pop band were preparing themselves for a three-part comeback this year put together by the talented Korean girl group.

Last year, BTS scored the most-liked tweet courtesy Jungkook. Kookie posted a video on the band's official Twitter account where he was dancing to Billie Eilish's Bad Guy. The ARMY showered him with love and as a result, the "Duh" tweet made history. However, he wasn't the only Korean celebrity who was hooked to the English song last year. We've discovered a video on Lee Min Ho's official Instagram account that shows the lead of The King: Eternal Monarch that shows he also enjoyed the song. 

Some of the most influential K-pop and Korean artists are speaking out after the death of George Floyd for justice and showing their solidarity with the black community.As America grapples with the outrage over another black person's death at the hands of police -- Floyd was suffocated by a Minneapolis police officer during an arrest -- the issue has gained notice around the world including in the Korean-music industry, an industry heavily inspired and influenced by black music and culture.

2020 has seen an interesting turn of events for the entertainment industry as people are relying on them to be distracted during the quarantine period, which was enforced by the coronavirus pandemic. K-dramas in particular has seen an upsurge, in the recent few years, when it comes to global consumption as international fans can't get enough of the shows.
