Naman Ramachandran U.K. broadcaster ITV has signed an agreement with WarnerMedia International Television Distribution to be the exclusive free-to-air home for several programs including Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble’s comedy series “The Sex Lives of College Girls.”The first series of “The Sex Live of College Girls” will premiere on ITV Hub and ITV2 in April, with the second series to follow later on ITV’s upcoming integrated AVOD/SVOD platform ITVX.The deal also includes series of “Hart of Dixie,” “The OC,” “One Tree Hill” and the first three seasons of “Veronica Mars” being made available on ITV and ITV Hub next month, with all four seasons of American sports drama television series “All American” available in May.

Selome Hailu CBS has given a pilot order to “Rust Belt News,” a comedy written and executive produced by Matt Warburton.The single-camera series is set in a small Ohio town where the local newspaper goes out of business, leaving the ambitious, angsty reporters of the high school newspaper as the only people left to report on scandals, dig up corruption and generally polish the rust off their rust-belt community.Along with Warburton, executive producers include Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo on behalf of Alloy Entertainment. Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project, The Office) has partnered with Amazon to launch Mindy’s Book Studio, a boutique publishing works selected by Kaling, which the six-time Emmy nominee will look to adapt for film in concert with Amazon Studios.
