Meet her at midnight? Four years after her Reputation tour, Taylor Swift just announced that she is hitting the road once again!

We never would have guessed Mimi Webb is British after listening on House On Fire.

Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, have announced details of their self-titled debut album and shared its lead single.‘Complete Mountain Almanac’ was formed after Karijord set out to make an album “about climate change in 12 suites, representing the 12 months of the year,” and approached her friend of 15 years, Jessica – who works as a poet, dancer and multimedia artist based in Italy – to contribute “poetic and lyrical” elements to the project.The band and album’s title came from a book of poetry written by Jessica in the wake of her breast cancer diagnosis, as well as coming to reflect the environmental themes on the record. Watch the video for ‘May’, featuring a video directed by Olof Grind, below.The album was recorded at Paris’ St. Germain studios, and features instrumentation and co-production from both Aaron and Bryce Dessner.

Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor Grammy and Oscar winning singer-songwriter Sam Smith has announced their fourth studio album, “Gloria,” will be released on January 27, 2023 via Capitol Records. Made with longtime collaborators Jimmy Napes, Stargate and Max Martin stablemate Ilya, the album is described in the announcement as “not only a creative revelation but something of a personal revolution for the celebrated artist. Lyrically, the subjects dive deep and wide, into contemporary narratives around sex, lies, passion, self-expression and imperfection.” Smith says, “It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation. It was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again. Oddly, it feels like my first-ever record. And it feels like a coming of age.”

Stormzy, the U.K. rapper who began in the grime underground and became a global hip-hop star, has announced his third studio album, This Is What I Mean. The project is due out November 25 via 0207 Def Jam/Interscope Records.

Dan Auerbach‘s band The Arcs have announced their first album in eight years, ‘Electrophonic Chronic’.The Black Keys frontman’s side project released their debut studio record, ‘Yours, Dreamily’, back in 2015. Its 12-track follow-up is due to arrive on January 27, 2023 via Auerbach’s own label Easy Eye Sound (pre-order here).Today (October 13), The Arcs have shared the first preview of the forthcoming project in the form of ‘Keep On Dreamin”, which arrives with an animated official video by Robert “Roboshobo” Schober.‘Electrophonic Chronic’ will also include the cuts ‘Heaven Is A Place’, ‘A Man Will Do Wrong’, ‘Backstage Mess’ and ‘Love Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’.The Arcs’ original line-up – completed by Leon Michels, Nick Movshon, Homer Steinweiss, and the late Richard Swift (who died in 2018, aged 41) – contributed to the new album, per a press release.It was recorded between Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, Electric Lady in Manhattan, and Michels’ Diamond Mine in Queens, New York.

Stormzy has shared details of his highly anticipated third album, ‘This Is What I Mean’, set for global release next month.Returning to social media after almost three years, Stormzy shared the new album’s artwork on Instagram today (October 12), depicting a letter sat on a doorstep with the album title printed on it.Described as “an intimate love letter to music” in a press statement and largely created at a “Stormzy music camp” in Osea Island, Stormzy spoke about praying every morning during the genesis of the new record.“When you hear about music camps they always sound intense and sombre,” Stormzy explained of how the new album came together. “People saying: ‘We need to make an album.’ ‘We need to make some hit records.’ But this felt beautifully free. We’re all musicians but we weren’t always doing music.

CVC have shared details of their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Get Real’.Alongside the announcement, the South Wales rockers have offered a first taste of the album in the form of lead single ‘Good Morning Vietnam’. Ross Orton, who previously worked with Arctic Monkeys, mixed the record.Explaining what the new single is about, the band said: “It’s about a time when everyone around us seemed to be wrapped up in Tinder and one-night stands.”“The album was recorded with love in the living room of a student house in Cardiff around one microphone, as we searched for a new sound,” they continued.

Olly Murs has announced that he will release his seventh studio album, ‘Marry Me’, later this year – his first since 2018’s ‘You Know I Know’. The first single from it, ‘Die Of A Broken Heart’, is out now.“It has that steel drum at the intro, which just gets in your head straight away”, he says of the new track. “It has a very Gotye ‘Somebody I Used to Know’ feel to it, with a touch of The Police – and just a coolness to it.

Glorilla has announced her debut EP, ‘Anyways Life’s Great’ which is set to arrive November 11 via Interscope. The EP will include her track, ‘Tomorrow 2’ a collaboration with Cardi B and her previously released single, ‘Blessed’.Glorilla picked up Best Breakthrough Artist at the 2022 BET Hip-hop Awards which aired last night (October 4). Depeche Mode have announced that they will release a new album, called ‘Memento Mori’, early next year, and embark of their first live shows for five years.The news follows the death of founder member Andy Fletcher, who passed away during the making of the album earlier this year.“We started work on this project early in the pandemic, and its themes were directly inspired by that time”, says the band’s Martin Gore. “After Fletch’s passing, we decided to continue as we’re sure this is what he would have wanted, and that has really given the project an extra level of meaning”.Dave Gahan adds: “Fletch would have loved this album.

Friendly Fires have announced a special London show to mark the 15th anniversary of their self-titled debut album – tickets will be available here.Released in 2008, the record includes the singles ‘Jump In The Pool’, ‘Paris’ and ‘Skeleton Boy’. ‘Friendly Fires’ appeared in NME’s top 50 albums feature that year and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize in 2009.Today (October 4) it’s been confirmed that Friendly Fires will perform their debut LP in full at new London venue HERE at Outernet on February 24, 2023.

Michaela Zee editor Fox Sports Films has announced the upcoming original documentary “David Ortiz: Legend of the Fall,” spotlighting Boston Red Sox veteran and Fox MLB analyst Ortiz (aka Big Papi). The sports documentary is set to premiere Oct. 14 on FS1. “David Ortiz: Legend of the Fall” follows the baseball career and legacy of Ortiz, from the Red Sox’s three World Series championships to his Hall of Fame induction. The documentary film features exclusive interviews with various teammates and rivals, along with behind-the-scenes footage showcasing Ortiz’s intimate moments and celebrations. “This film sends the message to my fans that if you have faith and don’t quit, you can achieve your dreams,” said Ortiz in a statement. “I was very fortunate to achieve mine and I am humbled by my entry into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
