Michelle Keegan has left her family and fans going wild as she sent a 'coming soon' message on social media. The actress couldn't help but share her excitement as the first trailer for her new series dropped.
Former Coronation Street star Michelle is set to star in the new BBC drama Ten Pound Poms, created by Bafta-award winner Danny Brocklehurst who she has previously worked with on the Sky comedy drama Brassic and BBC drama series Ordinary Lies. It was reveled last year that she will lead the six-part series alongside Games Of Thrones star Faye Marsay and Luther actor Warren Brown.
The drama, which Michelle spent time filming away from home last year, will follow a group who have been promised a better quality of life in Australia for only £10, leaving behind post-war Britain. Michelle will play a young nurse called Kate, who arrives in Australia without her fiance and will do whatever it takes to “rewrite her devastating past”, the BBC said.
