Michelle Heaton has allegedly been revealed to be the newest celebrity hitting the ice rink in the New Year as part of the latest Dancing on Ice line-up. A source said the team at ITV are "delighted" to welcome to singer as part of the line-up.They continued to tell The Sun: "Michelle has been through a lot over the past few years and she has overcome a lot to make it this far. “She wants to push herself and make her children proud of her." “Michelle is preparing to start her training for Dancing On Ice," it was added.
“She is raring to go and cannot wait to get out onto the ice." Their comments come after Michelle decided to go sober after her battle with alcoholism. Previously speaking to OK!, the singer admitted that her struggles meant her children "went through things no child should". She said: "As children, they should never have had to go through what they did, but they’ve both been amazing.

After initially reaching out for help, Michelle said that her husband Hugh was ultimately left to raise their kids as a single parent while she was in the midst of her three year cocaine and alcohol addiction. She previously admitted: "I felt like a bad mother — the worst. I’m so lucky I’ve got two beautiful children.
"They just want to see mummy well and they want to have ‘fun mummy’.They want me to play football with them, they want me to do their hair. It was those simple things that I wasn’t able to give them.
