Michael Chapman, Cinematographer on 'Taxi Driver' and 'Raging Bull,' Dies at 84

Bruce Haring pmc-editorial-managerWilliam “Bill” Bernstein, who spent six decades in the motion picture business, died today at age 87, according to this longtime friend, Jeff Frankel.In 1978, Bernstein, along with four other executives from United Artists, including Arthur Krim, Eric Pleskow, Mike Medavoy and Robert Benjamin, departed  United Artists to found Orion Pictures. Mr. Bernstein conceived of the name of the studio.

Disney reportedly cast "Grown-ish" star Yara Shahidi to play Tinker Bell in its upcoming live-action adaptation of "Peter Pan." The film will be called "Peter Pan and Wendy" and is set to be directed by David Lowery ("Pete's Dragon," "The Old Man & the Gun").
