Reality TV legend Olivia Bentley wants to "normalise" the prospect of adults in their 20s and 30s not making plans to have children. The Made in Chelsea star insists she's refusing to be pressured by society to take those expected next steps in life, whether that be getting married or having kids.
Speaking to Grazia, Liv admitted: "It's so interesting, when I tell people I maybe don't want to have kids they're always so shocked. Even when you say it out loud people are like, 'What?'." "All my friends are having babies at the moment, and I love seeing them with their kids but for me, I'm so far from that," she shared.
"I can't even see that happening to me in the next five years - and I don't think that's because of my breakup with [ex boyfriend] Tristan [Phipps]." Liv's declaration comes just weeks after gal pal Tiffany Watson welcomed a her baby boy, Jude, with boyfriend Cameron McGeehan, and co-star Sophie Habboo tied the knot with fellow MIC favourite Jamie Laing.
Tiff's older sister and Chelsea alum Lucy Watson also announced that she and husband James Dunmore are expecting their first child together. Explaining her decision, Liv admitted: "I think it's just because I'm not in a rush.
When I was younger, I used to really want loads of kids and the married life and all that sort of stuff. Whereas now, my priorities have kind of changed and I really want to develop my business, JOMO London." Liv also opened up on a conversation she'd had with co-star ex Tristan, 25, from whom she split in May this year after an on-off romance, reportedly having told him she doesn't think she wants children in the future.
