Eamonn Holmes has given a fresh update amid his battle with chronic pain as he was also heard opening up about the plans for once he's gone. The GB news presenter has been keeping his social media followers updated on his progress after first speaking out about his ill health while still a presenter on This Morning.
After an initial stint at the hospital with unbearable pain a few years ago, Eamonn later discovered was being caused by a dislocated pelvis and a trapped sciatic nerve.
The presenter then underwent surgery last September to try to help relieve him of pain but suffered a fall during his recovery, which resulted in him fracturing his shoulder and having to have more surgery.

Eamonn is now reliant on walking aids and doesn't shy away from admitting that things are tough. "I get resentful that I’m not the way I used to be but I just get on with it," he told the Mirror. "I work hard at trying to walk. It’s very hard to get through a normal day but I have help from people around me."
Among those people is his wife Ruth Langsford who Eamonn was full of praise for. "Ruth’s not a particularly tolerant person but my god I’m so indebted to her. She’s from an army family and she just gets on with it, she’s a tour de force," the 63-year-old said.
Eamonn shared how he's tried all sorts of treatments including epidural injections, physiotherapy and ice-cold showers. "The latest one I’m trying is this back stretching," he said. "I pay privately because my insurance only covers so much. I go to the paraplegic gym, I try my best but nothing much is getting better
