It appears a “tide has changed” in the relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry since their move to the US, a body language expert has observed. When American actress Meghan first arrived in the UK and became part of the Royal family, communication professional Judi James said Prince Harry took on the “overly protective role” as he taught her the typical proceedings followed by the Windsor family.
According to Ms James, this protectiveness kicked in as soon as the Duke of Sussex proposed to the Duchess, always being seen by her side at public events appearing as a guide for Meghan in the months ahead of their marriage. "Now she seems to have taken a much more vulnerable Harry back to the US with her and she seems to be more in the role of rescuer and protector with him.” Ms James evaluated that Prince Harry appeared “less self-assured” and “more awkward” in the interview due to not knowing Oprah as well as Meghan, and has now switched dominant roles with his wife — who has become protector in the partnership.
